Don't Hug me I'm Scared
Feeling scared, SMG4 asked them to allow him and Mario to leave, but the Duck continued on his lesson on happiness. Singing a song about it, SMG4 and Mario joined along but their lyrics conveyed fear instead. The song then continued about sadness, where the Duck sang about how his parents left him. As they continued to sing and dance, SMG4 and Mario attempted to leave again, but the puppets got angry, so they tried to flee, only to find that the door is locked.
However, possibly due to machinations of Roy or Lesley, Red Guy, along with Yellow Guy and a revived Duck Guy, were back in their house for the TV series, with Red Guy seemingly having his memory of escaping the show erased, although at numerous points in the TV series, he seemed to show some awareness of the living nightmare he and his friends were in, and insisted on escaping in the penultimate episode. In the sixth episode, he appeared to have succumbed to the status quo of the house, appearing scared when Yellow Guy abruptly became smart enough to question the nature of their daily routine and cheered when things reverted to \"normal\".
Thanks for your post. I’ve been thinking about writing a very comparable post over the last couple of weeks, I’ll probably keep it short and sweet and link to this instead if that's cool. Thanks A Competitive Edge
